Major Lazer is a Jamaican commando who lost his arm in the top secret Zombie battle of 1984. His arm is now a lazer and seeks to destroy all zombies for the sake of mankind. He gets down with the dancehall and is rumored to have a rocket powered skateboard. Not only is he saving lives he will be burning up your damn speakers.
This is the new crossover sound of dancehall/reggae.
The debut album: "Guns Don't Kill People. Lazers Do" is set to release next Tuesday. This is sure to be a classic as it was recorded in Jamaica at Tuff Gong Studios. (DTML will provide a COMPLETE album review)
